Aust Ch. Carmen Cordata (imp CZ)

Carmen was purchased from the Czech Republic after much research and consideration. Kilgarrin foresaw a need for an outcross and wanted to keep the phenotype that Jonquilow had set.

Controversy surrounded Carmens importation as Eastern Block Lowchen had not been frequently used by English and Australian lines, they usually preferred the Western Block of Europe if they were to branch out.

Carmen titled within 3 months of being shown in Australia, but failed to gain success at Group level. She was #13 in the Best Of Breed Challenge 2012.

She was withdrawn from the ring for maternal duties and Devon has said that "(she) wishes (she) had savoured Carmens success at the time, but the disappointment of not winning any sashes bittered the experience for (her)" and that she "won't allow that (bitterness) to happen again".

In the whelping box, Carmen has proven her success with 2 litters gaining 100% success for their titles.

Carmen's progeny has lifted the profile of Kilgarrin Lowchen thanks not only to the quality Carmen has passed on, but the vast success in the show ring of her progeny.

This mating was repeated as Devon wanted to retain a bitch as she was still exhibiting Animal at the time. Little did they know that these puppies would become the 'flagship' of Kilgarrin.

Aust Ch. Kilgarrin Czech Point Charlie, Charlie, a fawn male, owned by Hannah Kelly (Victoria) was the first puppy of this cross to enter the showring. He has had much success, consistently taking challenges and winning classes in group and in show.

Kilgarrin Winston Churchill (exp Singapore), Winston was exported to a fantastic pet home, he's our only ambassador in Singapore.

Aust Ch. Kilgarrin Game Of Thrones, Cersei, an Irish pied fawn girl, is shown by Devon and has had great success.

Aust Ch. Kilgarrin Dance With Dragons, Louis, fawn with black masking, male, owned by Jane Faulkner of Jonja Lowchen.

NZ Ch. Kilgarrin Clash Of Kings (exp NZ), Jamie, fawn and white male, owned by Janine Grey in New Zealand.

This litter has 100% success in gaining their championship titles and is the second Kilgarrin litter to do so!

Devon quickly realised that her beloved Balthier was turning 8 soon and she hadn't retained anything from him. So she put him over Carmen.

Balthier, being a less reliable stud dog than Animal, had two pups with Carmen;

AU Ch Kilgarrin HighOctane Hurricane, Cora, Irish pied bitch, who is exhibited by Devon & Robyn.

NZ Ch Kilgarrin Im A Gangster, Carson, sable and tan dog who is owned and shown by Anne Williams in New Zealand.
