A new puppy is always an exciting addition to the family!

Our puppies are robust, healthy and cute as a button. They are all raised in our home, with our family. From the onset of breeding, the mum to be is pampered and loved. She doesn't leave the home, with the exception of any vet appointments to ensure that she is relaxed, comfortable and free from risk of infection.

When the big day finally comes, she gives birth in our home and with Devon and Robyn acting as her midwives. If the birthing is at a respectable hour, even Dean will help!

The pups then grow up learning what normal everyday life is like. They are with their mother right up until 8 weeks old. This is important as the mother helps her babies with socialisation.

Our ethics;

Mothers birth naturally. We have never had complications in the birthing process, but if it was to happen the mother would be desexed.
We don't use "breeders terms". All females that we keep for the purpose of breeding are kept entirely in our care and are not farmed out to others. Moving on mature dogs is not done lightly, but may be considered. We make a lifetime commitment to the welfare of our dogs.

Because of our lifetime commitment to our breeding stock, we continue health testing long after most breeders would have stopped. This means that we have more accurate predictability of litter outcomes.
A strong history of DNA profiling of breeding stock means that the registration papers are worth more than the paper they are written on! They are certified!
Our LIFETIME HEALTH GUARANTEE means that you can be sure you can come back to us if anything goes wrong. While the agreement itself is water tight, we consider each case individually. We offer this to make sure that owners let us know if something goes wrong. (This also gives us more information about heritable health.)
Our only expectation is that you love and look after your Kilgarrin Lowchen, keep us informed and desex your pet (if you aren't showing of course!)
