Devon Bennett, Handler, Breeder, Judge.

 

Raised in a home with lowchen, Devon has always had a passion for horses and dogs.

 

Her first breed entering the show ring was Rough Collies and soon expanded to include Smooth Collies. She gain great experience in the Junior Handler classes handling many different breeds from a vast majority of groups. Devon regularly showed a Doberman for Junior Handlers as this was her preferred breed. 

Breeds handled include, but are not limited to;

-Doberman

-Springer Spaniel

-Dalmatian

-Shetland Sheepdog

-Rough Collie

-Smooth Collie

-Lowchen

 

During her VCE (year 11 and 12) decided to commit to showing the family breed, Lowchen, and has never looked back. While dedicating much of her time to Lowchen, Devon has been ever expanding her abilities and knowledge of dogs. At the age of 26, Devon is able to say she has handled at least one breed in every ring!

To date, she has added the following breeds to her experience;

-Wire Fox Terrier

-Maltese

-Italian Greyhound

-Chihuahua

-Greyhound

-Borzoi

-American Staffordshire Bull Terrier

-Pug

-Yorkshire Terrier

-Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

-Minature Pincher

-Pekanese

-Griffon

 

Devon has also, throughout her life, exhibited horses and ponies. Some of the breeds Devon has exhibited are;

-Welsh Ponies (Sections B & C)

-Australian Riding Ponies

-Thoroughbreds

-Arabians

-Andalusions

-Quarter Horses

 

Devons biggest success has been with her Quarter Horse, Playin Little Heroes, who she campaigned at the Quarter Horse Nationals in 2013. Devon looks forward to returning to the ring with him in the near future, competing in Dressage, Hack and Hunter Hack classes.
