The Colonel is everything you want in a dog that to be retained for show and future stud work. He has an outgoing and confident nature, without lacking affection or sweetness. He is highly tractable and consistent.

 

His shape and proportions are beautifully balanced, showing correct harmony fore and aft. His chest is quite deep and his ribs well sprung, ensuring he is robust, a breed characteristic! The Colonel has strong round bone throughout his body.

 

He has a wonderful expression, emphasised by his relatively large, round, dark eyes. He has complete pigmentation also, with stunning halos around his eyes.. 

 

The Colonel is now in the challenge lineup, he is consistently being awarded over some top winning dogs. We are very much looking forward to his future success. Championship title gained at 9 months of age (total Challenge campaign of 3 months and 7 days). He is well on his way to his Grand Championship title.

 

As for his success as a sire; he has already produced one champion (AU Ch Kilgarrin Ours Is The Fury) and has another who has also taken challenges. He has really stamped his correctness of type on his progeny.

Look out for his future in the ring, as we are certain he will have a long show career!
